Northwest Carpenters Health and Security Plan

Eligibility

  • Participant Eligibility

An employee is eligible to participate in the plan if they work under a collective bargaining agreement requiring contributions to the Trust, or if their employer has a written contribution agreement with the Trustees and makes the required contributions. Eligibility is determined on the basis of a dollar bank system. To become eligible and to maintain eligibility, you must satisfy the dollar bank eligibility requirements. You must enroll in this plan before your claims can be processed. Learn more.

  • Dependent Eligibility

If a participant or retiree is eligible for coverage, certain family members are also eligible for coverage. There is no additional cost for these eligible dependents except under Retiree Coverage. Learn more.

  • Retiree Eligibility

The Northwest Carpenters Health and Security Plan is available to retirees and their dependents if the retiree satisfies eligibility requirements, enrolls in the plan, and makes the required monthly contributions to the plan.
