Video: Renovation 2014

The Carpenters Health and Security Plan of Western Washington was officially renovated on Jan. 1, 2014. By "renovated," we mean the health plan was brought up to code so it now complies with two federal laws—the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA). These updates actually improve health benefits for eligible carpenters and dependents, so it’s important to know the details.
