Yes, You Can Get Your Flu Shot at a Pharmacy

They're here. Flu viruses, that is. A flu shot is considered the first and most important step in protecting yourself against this painful and sometimes deadly illness. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends a yearly flu vaccine for everyone 6 months of age and older. It's not too late to get vaccinated, and it's easy to do now that  Express Scripts covers the flu vaccine at participating pharmacies. These include Bartells, Costco, Rite Aid, Safeway, Target, Walgreens and dozens of other national and regional pharmacies. A complete list of participating pharmacies can be found here. There's no copayment or coinsurance for the flu shot. The Carpenters Health and Security Plan pays the full cost for eligible carpenters and dependents. Just be sure to present your Express Scripts ID card.
