Employer Status Report

The Employer Status Report provides information about the status of an employer's reports and remittances. Because of this report's limitations, however, general contractors should require subcontractors to provide an affidavit from the Trusts as part of each progress payment or draw request. What It Shows

The Employer Status Report is updated most every business day and reflects data from the work processed by Northwest Carpenters Trusts on the previous workday. The report provides the following information:

• Last Report: The latest work period reported by the employer. More information about reporting hours.
• Balance Owed: If there is a "Y" in this column, it means the employer owes unpaid benefit contributions to the Trusts. More information about delinquencies.
• Legal Collection: If there is a "Y" in this column, it means the employer has been referred to a collection service for unpaid contributions. More information about collections.

What It May Not Show

The Employer Status Report only reflects what is reported to the trust office. If hours are not reported or are incorrectly reported, the employer may owe unpaid benefit contributions to the Northwest Carpenters Trusts, even though the Employer Status Report indicates no balance owed. Such an omission from this report does not waive responsibility for unpaid contributions resulting from hours not reported or incorrectly reported. A payroll audit is the only way to verify the accuracy of the hours reported.
